Reaction calorimetry of flow processes is important for scale-up and safety in chemistry. Due to the increasing number processes, corresponding calorimeters are required as an alternative or addition high-precision batch calorimeters. In this work, a milli-scale isoperibol continuous calorimeter was used measure heat reaction based on elaborated transfer model. This allows without calibration. The model tested with selective, fast exothermic neutralization acetic acid sodium hydroxide at different rates, concentrations viscosities. Deviations mean heats from literature values were only about 2%. calorimetric data can further be direct tube bundle mixer exchangers having similar characteristics. addition, screening rates find maximum temperature generation. useful analyses processes.
